Calling all families! Join us on the Food Court Stage at Mount Pleasant Centre for some FREE Storytime Fun from 10am!

Thanks to Mackay Regional Council, Mackay Regional Council Libraries, First 5 Forever and Wild Puppets. Join us for FREE FUN including storybook reading, singing, dancing and puppets!

11 February: Dear Zoo
A fun and interactive story featuring lots of animal puppet.

18 March: Teddy bear
Bring your favourite teddy for this special Story Time.

22 April: Around the World
Come and meet cute, cuddly and exotic animals as we travel around the world.

20 May: Having fun with Colours
Experience our colourful version of the great children’s story, ‘Brown bear Brown bear’.

24 June: How many Animals
Come and count the animals with us in our interactive story.

22 July: Dear Aquarium
Meet an array of aquatic puppets as we search for the perfect pet.

26 August: Get Moving
An active story time incorporating lots of energetic animal puppets.

30 September: We’re going on a Bear Hunt
Bring your teddy and join us for a bear hunt.

21 October: Dear Zoo
Get ready to have lots of adventure as we visit the Zoo.
